Buy In Bey – Local E-commerce General Store

Introduction

A local ecommerce brand selling trending gadgets and accessories in Lebanon.

I built the entire brand from the ground up—including logo design, full brand identity, and UI/UX for the online store. I also handled the site’s architecture, product layout, and conversion-focused structure. The store runs on Shopify and uses direct-response visuals to drive impulse buys.

Currently scaling with local marketing campaigns and supplier optimization.

The Challenge

In Lebanon’s saturated retail space, consumer trust in online shopping is fragile. Local ecommerce solutions often suffer from clunky UI, poor product curation, and generic branding—leaving users confused and unengaged.

Buy In Bey was built to solve a specific problem:

How do we make tech gadgets irresistible to digital-native buyers in Lebanon through a clean, trustworthy, and conversion-focused e-commerce experience?

Challenges included:

  • Lack of brand identity in local gadget stores

  • Outdated UX/UI models that didn’t translate to modern users

  • Manual product flows, inventory chaos, and poor presentation

  • Low visual credibility, leading to weak trust and low sales

The Solution

I designed, developed, and launched Buy In Bey as a solo operator, with full control over the brand, system, and growth direction. My approach focused on clarity, speed, and perceived value.

Branding & Visual Identity

  • Created a bold, techy logo that communicates motion and modernity

  • Developed a visual system with color hierarchy, iconography, and brand voice

  • Designed packaging elements to match the digital vibe and create a consistent brand loop

UX/UI & Architecture

  • Built a Shopify-based store with optimized navigation, product hierarchy, and trust elements (reviews, shipping FAQs, guarantee)

  • Structured collections by utility and aesthetics to reduce decision fatigue

  • Applied conversion copy principles to homepage, product descriptions, and CTAs

System Thinking & Ops

  • Automated product syncing, order tracking, and basic customer service tools

  • Optimized inventory control and pricing strategies using demand spikes

  • Built product pages with repeatable, modular blocks for scale

Conclusion

Buy In Bey wasn’t just an ecommerce project—it was a full-stack solopreneurship lab. From brand concept to operational flow, every element was designed with purpose, scalability, and conversion in mind.

As the project grows, it continues to serve as a testing ground for new product strategies, digital UX systems, and performance marketing in emerging markets.
